Do i need to ask for official permission to display song lyrics on my personal website...if i do, whom do i ask exactly? Should i write to the band or..the bands manager...the company the band works for...? And do i need to sign a contract or anything like that?

And if i were to copyright my own website...how would i go about doing that?

I´d really appreciate any info you could give me on this. Thank you! =D
