There are many things which life has taught me which have nothing to do with martial art (even though I could probably find a parallel) so I'm going to tell you about what martial art has taught me about life.
One very important thing is to avoid prejudice in any form whatsoever. Even though you may not agree with someone, there is no need to denigrate him or her.
Another is to cultivate a fertile mind. It's true what they say about it being a terrible thing to waste.

cancer, and doc told you you got 2-3 yrs to live, hw would you take it? i ask this cause my uncle just found out and it got me thinking you know.. i really dont know how ill take the news... i dont think ill make it to 2-3 yrs.. ill end it all first b4 having to suffer in the end.. what about you? what would your plans be? how'd you take it?

I want to be cremated - the thing is, that way you can choose where your remains lie. I'm not very religious, so I think it would be a bit hipocritical to be buried in a church graveyard. I haven't been to church since the obligatory Sundays at Boarding School!

I want my ashes to be thrown into the sea, at my fave spot....

Also, surely if you are cremated, your soul has en easier route up to heaven, with the smoke etc... Rather than being stuck in a coffin....

I totally agree with the "Circle of life" thing though - if I could just be buried without a coffin, where I chose, then at least my remains would contribute to the soil, insects etc... But you can't do it that way nowadays...

I'd love to know other people's opinions on this!!
