Taking Lives is a good thriller. I recommend that one.
Other good films I recommend if you don't have them yet:
The Green Mile
The Shawshank Redemption
Suspect Zero
And if you're into international movies too I recommend:
Angels of the Universe ("Englar alheimsins", an Icelandic movie)
Darkblue World ("Tmavomodrý svÄt", a Czech/British movie)
Shut up! ("Tais toi!", a French comedy)

Scrubs, Friends, Desparate Housewides. Than you need all the classics like Shrek.
Horrors? I liked that one with Nicole Red Head woman, but I can't remember the name. The screams are cool too.
