Yahoo messenger sucks! it's full of bots and no one talks in the rooms. and MSN messenger doesn't have public chat rooms. Is there any good chat rooms where i can go and actually have conversations with pple??

I grew up in the fifties. We had 45 RPM records, and a song was a hit when it sold a lot of them, and also got a lot of play on juke boxes. But since then, singles haven't really been sold. How then does a single song become a hit? Now there are mp3's, so I suppose singles can once more be sold, but would someone explain to me how it's all happening in this day and age?

I got my mam and dad tickets to see Paul Potts in Newcastle for christmas, because I was under the impression they liked him, but apparently they they're not as fond of him as I first thought.
Should I give them the tickets anyway? or get them a different Christmas present? if so, what?
