As a prelude to my answer: I am very far away from the person that I love. He lives in the North, and I live 700 miles due South of him.
The other night, I took my dog for a walk, and just as we stepped clear of the trees in my yard, a "falling star" or meteorite blazed through the night sky above us.
It was so beautiful, and as it was traveling from South to North, I envisioned it passing over the home of my dearly beloved.
If that isn't beautiful , then I guess I don't know what is.

Look at it! There is so much wonder in humans about the sky. There is so much in it, that we don't understand. Those gleaming, bright stars! We delight in a Christmas tree, with it's bright colored lights, when the night is dark, so how can we not appreciate the natural glowing lights God has provided for us. Beauty never came so freely!

The night is beautiful in that it hides those things that do not please the eye in the daylight. Like the weeds in my backyard....
