Other - Music - July 2007

Hi Everyone-- I've played piano and acoustic for quite a while now, and I'm thinking about getting an electric. It looks like fun :-). But I don't want to get one of those super cheap packages or guitars, with the horrible machine heads and pickups. Something with decent pickups, quality build, and versitility for effect add-ons, etc. I don't know much at all about electrics--so I'd appreciate your advice. Maybe a few suggestions in a few price ranges (starting at $200 and up to $600) and brief reasons WHY will def get a best answer. Thanks in advance!! I appreciate the help!

My two brothers and I are having trouble keeping a singer. My sister was our singer, but she had to move like four hours away for a job.She comes up every other weekend.So my brother wants to have his girlfrind sing for our band, because my sister is gone all the time.His girlfriend sings okay, but it's not really the genre we want. Should we stick with my sister, or go with his girlfriend?

ok so, theres these two guys and one girl. ok lets say the guys names are tom and tim and the one girl is sally. ok well tom is my ex, but we still kiiiind of like eachother...but he likes me alot more than i like him, and tim is the new guy, i really like him and think something could happen. but, tom and tim kind of dont like eachother, and sally, wich is one of my best friends used to have strong feelings for tim, and now shes saying "oh i dont care about him" but i dont know if shes telling the truth or not. and well, i really dont want to ruin the relationship with my ex cause he has a certain something for me that no other guys have, i dont exactly kno what it is...but hes different. but i really think sumthing could happen with tim. and i have no idea how to tell sally that i like tim. so...what do i do?

i just think that she is soo amazingly talented and ive never heard anyone with a better range than her..so i just think that people who try to sing her songs in like competitions and stuff are idiots because they are the hardest songs to sing...

The hook is "I'll Always...come back to you"
I heard the song yesterday and I LOVED IT...i assumed it was called "I'll always come back to you" or something of the sort...but apparently i was wrong. CAN YOU HELP PLEASE???

The first one is a slow song... kind of new but not really... its really sweet.

the lyrics are... "If I lay here... If I just lay here... Would you lay with me... just for a while..."

And the second one... sorry... this is going to be vague. Its an older song... and the people almost sound like theyre speaking gibberish. It has a bit of violin to help with the melody... and for the verse it sounds like their saying... "dowa dowa he..." or something... and then the verse is kind of like... "Come on Ali... oh I swear something... then something... You mean everything..." Then it goes slow with... "Come... Ali... Dowa Dowa say... something..."
sorry... if you dont know it... its cool. I think their band name has something with Midnight in it. or night
