Greetings, I've started teaching myself how to play the electric guitar,with the aid of a dvd set, but I'm stuck on playing harmonics, I know they say to lightly touch the string then release, but every time I do that the note just dies it doesn't
continue to "ring" out.

It goes something like:

Or something like that. It is driving me crazy, because I heard it recently on satellite radio station sirius on Dish Network right as it ended, so I couldn't catch the name. I fell in love with this guy and he used me...anyway, now we broke up and supposedly friends..well this happened recently and I'll be leaving for vacation soon hopefully and I will never see him. I would like to send him a song that has the best lyrics to prove that when he listens to it, he will miss me and realize he made a mistake and I am a special girl (who cared so much about him) and he would have been happy had he have given me a chance and its his loss he wants to be single and commitment free and have fun.
