Ok i wrote this song about growing up with alchoholic parents. Its just the start of it. Tell me what you think.btw i am only 13 so dont expect great.
I was there on the night, you got into your fight. The scars they wont heal, as time passes, but they wil let us remember the life that we had. We put our cards on the table, as we were so unable, to distinguish the lies, from the truth in your eyes. So tell me how could i know, when i was seven years old and im drowning in fear because your never here. You always left me alone, when i was most vulnerable, yeah.
Ok so its supposed to be slow and u might not get it and stuff but ok just tell me what you think. Thanks.

I tried a couple of searches, but my head is pounding, so I can't seem to find this song title.

Its sung by a guy who talks about his girlfriend dying on graduation day and he goes to the beach instead of to her memorial service.

Help?

So everybody put your best suit or dress on,
let's make believe that we are wealthy for just this once...
lighting firecrackers off on the front lawn,
as thirty dialogs bleed into one...
I wish the world was flat like the old days,
and I could travel just by folding a map...
no more airplanes or speed trains or freeways,
there'd be no distance that could hold us back...

For example, when I was a kid I thought that Huey Lewis, in the song "Heart of Rock and Roll" was saying " The Elbow may be barely breathin', but the heart of rock and roll, the heart of rock and roll is still beatin'...sing it to yourself and it makes sense.

All the lyrics I remember is "and smoking and drinking and smoking and drinking", that was kind of the chorus and they said it a lot. It was a rap song. I've googled it and searched a few lyrics sites. Any idea?

it's a song i've heard a couple of times on the radio -- in the chorus are the lyrics, "i'm so hypnotized by you" it's a rock song with almost a dance like beat, male band

I heard the song on an adult contemporary radio but I dont think its old. The lyrics where basically a song about a guy celebrating his love for his woman. The only line I can remember was, vaguely this:

paraphrasing? "I get to kiss you and I am so lucky..."

sorry, wish I could give more info, only heard it once in the car.

Thanks!

I am the lead singer of a cover band and even though I have sung in front of people before, I've always had the music in front of me. I know all the songs we'll be doing (30-40 on an average night) but I don't know that I can memorize the lyrics to all of them. The other band members assured me that lots of lead singers use music stands and have lyric notes, but I think that looks cheesy. Granted we aren't rock stars, just a local deal. But still, I want to look like I know what I'm doing. I've always been in awe of singers who can do an entire concert by heart. Besides practicing (the obvious) what other things can I do to memorize that many songs? Thanks.

UGH! I can justsee it now. Someone REALLY NEEDS to go to rehab and they start singing her *!#*! song!

Having lived with an alcoholic drug abuser for years, I really HATE that song. The music behid the song is good, but the lyrics are completely irresponsible.
