I am aware that I use the line 'I will always love you' like Whitney houston's song but 1 line doesnt matter
This is the song:

Years may pass,
Life may go on,
And I'm still missing a piece,
Of who I am.

I still wonder,
How it came to be,
That I never really knew,
Who you were to me,
Sometimes
I ask myself,
What would have happened,
If you'd never gone.

[Bridge]
Did you cry?
Did you smile?
Will you ever be real to me?
Did you laugh?
Were you hurting on the inside?
How will I ever know,
What you were like.

[Chorus]
I wish I'd known you,
Now I can't,
But I cry all the same,
Coz it still hurts,
No matter what they say,
No matter what they do,
I know in my heart,
I will always love you.

There are times,
When I ask myself,
What went wrong,
Why did you have to go?

If I could go back,
And warn you of,
What was to come,
Would you be here today?
Would it make a difference,
In the end.

[Bridge]

[Chorus]

Ooh, I'll always love you

Seems like .... the country music I listen to on the radio .... the writers are throwing in everything but the kitchen sink to find words that people can relate to ..... words that sell ......

Was it always like this or is this a new phenomenom ???

We have to choose a song for IHS (Identity/health/society) class and the song has to address an issue that relates to teenagers in either a positive way or a negative way. We have to analyze the lyrics and the message of the song.

Some of the issues my teacher gave me were body image & beauty, sexuality and gender identity, drugs/alcohol/tabacco, relationships, violence.

THANK YOU!!!

I've been looking for this song, for just about forever; it always played at the end of an early '70's T.V. comedy skit show, shown right before the evening's prime time line-up. Regrettably, I don't remember the show's name, though it might have been a Second City Comedy show.

...it was a slow & emotionally wrought song, sung by a male artist, and although I don't remember the entire lyrics, I DO recall that in the main chorus, the words "...will you remember me" are sung twice...

...I almost thought that I had it, about 7 years ago, while browsing the video rental shelves, at a local video rental shop, when I was living in Hawaii; when they played it over the PA system, I immediately dropped the movies I was about to rent, & stormed over to the check-out counter, almost grabbing the clerk by his shirt lapels. Unfortunately, they didn't have a list of the songs or artists that they played over their system, nor would they release the tape of music to me...

Can Anyone Help??

Is there two different versions of this song? There was a lot of people complaining about all the mention of "suicide" in the song, and since then, when i hear it on the radio hes saying "in denile" rather than "suicide". Did he make two different versions using both words? Or whats that about?

Heard this old song the other day

about some guys going "Down the mighty mississip to the gulf of mexico"

and on the way they encountered some british soldiers

they "Shot first but they kept a comin"

and then they "shot again and they began a runnin"

into bushes where "even a rabbit could go"

Any idea what song it is and/or who sings it?
