I've heard the song by Brittney Spears (sp?), but the one I like better is one sang by a guy. I have no idea what his voice sounds, and I was hoping that someone could help me.

For those who've been under a rock for the last 2 decades, the PMRC is a big parent's community created by the wife of former vice president Al Gore, and her name was Tipper: Tipper "I Hate Metal" Gore. If you wanna know why I'm asking who doesn't like her, here's why?
If you've ever noticed the sticker that said Parental Advisory: Explicit Content on a CD and you can't buy it because you're underaged. Yeah. the PMRC made that happen. First of all, Tipper Gore was outraged by the music at that time. She made the Dirty 17, which will be in my sources, but one of the songs is "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister. Dee Snider, the vocalist, was called into a court hearing, which you can hear a little bit about in my sources.
Either way, I'm asking because Tipper Gore does not have any sensible way in music. She confuses throat surgery for sado-masochism.

the only part of the track i know is a line of (i think)the chourus,which goes:"and i'll show you a sunset if you stay with me till dawn."i also know it's a woman singing it,i thought it was carly simon but i'm not sure.any help much appreciated.cheers.

It went something like, "So let the sunshine in, face it with a grin." And then I remember it as going "Losers always lose, and winners always win." - but that can't be right. It's just one of those utterly trivial things that nag at me once in a while :o)

What other artists or songs can you think of that would fit in to this type of "genre" - if it can even be called that lol. What I have so far:
Boy Named Sue, The Last 10 Years, Twist and Shout, Please Mister Postman, Come a Little Bit Closer, Lady in Red, When a Man Loves a Woman, Knockin' on Heavens Door, Piece of My Heart and Coal Miners Daughter.

OK....This is going to be hard.. The artist is a female and she looks like she is indian, she has an english accent. Her video is really bright, she is dancing around on fences and stuff. It sounds like a reggae beat. It came out maybe 3 years ago. For my life I cannot remember the name of this damn song. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't I see any more black covers to The Black Parade. Is it so it doesn't scare the preps away that think the song Welcome To The Black Parade is about a dad who took his kid to a marching band, and they wore all black. PEOPLE YOU'RE WRONG! The song Welcome to the black parade is about death and enjoying life while you can. I love MCR but hate the people that think it's cool for 1 or 2 songs.

there's an old song I am trying to remember, recorded sometime in the mid eighties. It is a duet between two famous singers, I think they were gay. An older man, I think in a suit on the video and a young bloke dressed in black.
