I've been interested in getting a pedal for my guitar, but i don't know really anything about them. I would like to know the basics, like are there X number of sounds and each company gives them their own name for it, what's some good companies, stuff like that. If possible a url link to a good site would be great. I'm just pretty thick about this and i don't know anything about it, and i don't won't to go out and buy one that i don't like later on. Also, is there a way to hear how they sound before you purchase them? I like rock, alt, some metal, things like that, are there any good pedals like that? sorry for all the questions, any informative answers would be greatly appreciated.

I am almost sure it is her. i always only see bits and peices of it but i love the song. it is a slower song probably not dance and she appears to be on trial in the video and i think she says "don't you"........something i don't know please help Thanks!

I'm looking for the video or live version of a few songs by Carrapicho, a brazilian music group. I've seen them before, and can't find them now.
