I want to make a guitar album - mixed with other tracks,
I don't mind if I record onto PC or onto recording hardware.

Can anyone tell me what hardware/software I need to record guitar and then mix it with other tracks to burn onto CD so it sounds professional?

Most memorable live show..where and when?
I saw him in Oakland, CA on the Last in Line tour as well as Berkley for the Dream Evil Tour. Both were outstanding.

that was on mtv...i saw it on mtv about 6 weeks ago i think...its a black guy singing and the video is in black and white ink and it sounds like hes saying the word crazy..thats the only part i could remeber, its a very distinct music video and its not like there is alot of ones that look anything like it. I think its obviously r&b or hip hop or rap or one of those..please help me with my partial amnesia (lol) remember its a music video with the word crazy in it somewhere and its in black and white ink looking type thing

I personally LOVE pearl jam and id have to say they are my favorite band but i am interested in knowing the other side of the view on pearl jam. So give me your best reasons...better yet...try to make me think pearl jam sucks...never gonna happen...but it makes for a good answer!

Where can I find scores or transcriptions for contemporary music (Jazz, Blues, R&B, etc...) that are like the original recordings?

I'm teaching myself how to play piano (I know I should get a teacher..lol) I've made great strides but now I hit a wall. I can't progress as much as at first. I want to study the music and all its parts, the instruments, how they play with one another etc... Just like the way they do it in classical music. Where the composer tells you exactly what he wants you to play.

It seems that in contemporary styles (open to improv as they are) they only give you suggestions in the form of lead sheets, or progressions, with maybe a simple melody. Unfortunately for a novice its very difficult to navigate through this maze by his or herself. If they lack the technical experience and ability to harmonize they just wont be able to do it.

The reason why I'm asking is because I can't find decent scores out there of contemporary music. All Im getting is this hal....
