This had been drivin' me nuts. It's got a distinct Latin tango sound to it. It sounds like a classic old tango number from maybe back in the 40's, because every time I hear it, it reminds me of some old movie where it played in the background. Name that song! And for extra points, name the movie!! lol

I have a book I checked out from the library called the complete idiot's guide to playing the guitar, and I am stuck in the chapter where you practice appregio chords to songs like Down in the Valley or whatever...the songs are boring, but I want to learn how to do it quickly because the next section focuses on the full bar and scales and stuff. HELP! Should I spend a lot of time on this section? Thanks

I hope I'm not getting the song and the artist mixed up. Let's see if anyone can help me because I can't get this song out of my head!
The lyric which goes over and over in my head is "it only lasts for a moment". The male singer has a high, almost falsetto voice. He's the singer for a band that went on to be known as this singer AND whatever the bands name is. I can picture the guy....slightly receeding hairline, wiry hair, caucasian sitting behind a piano.
This is driving me crazy so any help will be appreciated.
