Ok, so I lost my Itunes library in a recent computer crash and some of the nice people on this site told about a program called ephpod that would take the songs from my Ipod and upload them to itunes. So I downloaded the ephpod program, but then it told me i need to download and pay for another program....for people that have used this program, does this sound right? thanks in advance

It's a mix of english and spanish words. The beat is very bouncy and you can hear whistling in the beginning and in the middle of the song. The words are something like "let me hear you say hey ooh" walk like....", "hey chica..."

Everyone's entitled to their own musical taste but here's my opinion:
If you like new music fine, but it shouldn't be called what it is. Today's R&B isn't R&B it's just hip-hop. And how could today's
"rock" be placed in the same genre with Led Zeppelin? How can R&B be R&B if it doesn't have SOUL? How could rock n' roll be rock if it doesn't even ROCK? And Kid Rock's just pop and rap in a cowboy hat. Older music has way more soul and quality. Let's compare:

JAZZ
Back when: Louis Armstrong, Spirits of Rhythm, Hall Johnson choir
NOW
Kenny G, weather channel crap
R&B
Back when: Otis Redding, Drifters, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke
Now: R. Kelly, Ashanti, Justin Timberlake
REGGAE
back when: Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer
now: dancehall crap
ROCK
back when: Chuck Berry, Elvis, The Coasters, Led Zeppelin, Bad Company
today: Simple Plan, other assorted whiny prepubescent-sounding bands
COUNTRTY
back when: Hank Williams, Patsy Cline
now: Big & Rich, Kid Rock

A few weeks ago I went to my coworker's birthday party. She's a 50-year-old African American, as were most of the guests, and they played music that sounded kind of like old school/ mo-town/ R&B type stuff. Lots of them were "line dance" songs, and I really liked them!

Does anyone know of some song names or artists to recommend? When I asked her, she said, "I don't know names. It's just old school." So she wasn't able to point me in the direction towards getting this music for myself.

Thanks!

What are some songs that are good about someone who is away for a long time? Such as "Here without you" or "I'm already there - Lonestar"? Thanks!
