I don't think he is that great either, but then again most of the singers on American Idol aren't that brilliant, IMO.

I don't think he's idol material but I do think he could sing. I didn't see the guy from North Carolina that didn't make it, I heard he should have one. Out of the last 3 contestants I don't think there was any choice. Taylor was the only one that could sing consistantly. And that's what the winner had to be able to do. Way to go TAYLOR!!!! Congrats!!!!! Takes allot of gutts they all did well.

I agree, he isn't that good. He is quirky and interesting so maybe that's his appeal. I thought Chris Daughtry and Katherine McPhee were much better and had better talent. Honestly though, I'm glad they didn't win because I think they will do better on their own without American Idol's strict creative controls. I think they have killed the careers of most of the idols.

Didn't think much of him at first-but he kinda grew on me. He's not a great singer,but is a good entertainer. Katherine probably has the most potential-the voice and looks,but Taylor was the most consistant and when he's got his groove goin',he can bring down the house.

I think the girl should've won not him...he has no talent other than what every other boy singer has out there right now. Bring something new to the table.

he needs to go back to where the hell he came from...he singing sound like those william shatnet commercials and he looks like a fat middle-aged man.
