What are your thoughts about the Golden Compass? My friend actually convinced me not to see it but her dad is a pastor. But just because you see it doesn't mean your an atheist right? Should i see it or not?

Do you think adding to old standard frame movies to make them widescreen is a good idea (like cartoons)?

I love foreign movies, but I'm running out of tiltles. (btw I'm in the US) do you duys know any movies that are not so well known? something that's not so commercial or successful, but that's still good? I'd prefer movies that are not licensed in the US, but anything's good. Thanks in advance

..do you identify with the most?

Could be animated or non-animated.

I identify with Belle because of a few things:
Her love of books.
The way she makes choices with relationships. (She didn't want Gaston, even though all the other girls in the village did. She wanted the person that her heart would choose.)
Family ment the most.
She didn't have much, yet she was happy.

I think it would be interesting to hear everyone's viewpoints.
