It's a Wonderful Life

It is an old movie, but it has the feelings behind it that most of us can still relate to from time to time. The idea that your life would be better if it was never here, and it proves out that this is never true. No matter what you think, you have had some impact on life and without you something would surely suck more.

'It's a Wonderful Life' is an undeniable eternal classic!

Did you know it actually flopped when it first came out? It was too sophisticated for the audience of the time. It became popular only after it strarted airing on TV. The stations could buy it cheap, beacuse it had been a flop. With a more modern audience viewing it in the comfort of thier homes, it became a new classic :)

Some other greats:

'A Christmas Story' - You'll shoot your eye out!
'Scrooged' - Bill Murray was great in that
The great Claymation Specials; 'Rudoplph' and 'Frosty'
'Miracle on 34th Street' - the original, not the remakes
'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' - the original animated one!

oh yes, and who can forget the all time greatest -
'Santa Claus versus the Martians' (j/k on that one of course)

Miracle on 34th Street (1947 version)

It makes you believe in Santa Claus, again.

Remember, the 1947 version starring Natalie Wood and Edmund Gwenn as Kris Kringle. I've seen the remakes, and they aren't worth the celulose they were filmed on, by comparison.

Scrooged starring Bill Murray. I'd really like to see it this season. And the husband and I will be feasting on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
