I remember a movie released in '97 or something, about this father in prison - he made a break for it, and tried to escape cross-country with his youngish teenage girl and younger boy, but got caught in the end. They met their gradma in Reno, and also took a "houseboat" on a scenic river later in the movie. Sound familiar at all? The main actor (the "dad") looked a lot like the actor in Overboard, but not the same actor (at least, I think).

I'll provide more details if necessary, but thats kind of about all I really remember. I hope you guys can help me! =\

I recently watched Blood Diamonds. I was glad I saw it. Movies like Rwanda, North Country, My Country, Harrison's Flowers make me feel alive and inspire me to make better
choices. What subject/topic do you think should be addressed
by the political movie producers?

i (believe) in the early ninetys or possibly the late 80's there was a movie i distictly remember seeing about a school of witchcraft, it may or may not have included boys i dont remember, all i do remember is the story followed one girl who owned a black cat who either ran away from home or ran away from the school. Thats really all i can remember but its been bugging me for a while, possibly someone out there know what movie im referring to PS its not bedknobs and broomsticks in case anyone wants to answer that. Its possible that she had some sort of delivery job that she utilized her broomstick for? my memory of the movie is very spotty but like i said its been botherin me for a while so help me out! thanks

What do you reckon are some of the greatest songs from movies. Name the Song, the artist, the movie, and what happens when the songs is playing.

For me it would be in 'Goodfellas' when the song 'Atlantis by Donovan comes on in the scene when the marfia guys are beating some guys to pulp. The song made it send shivers down my spine.

What is wrong with this lady, she is completely and totally out of her mind, personally i have no idea how she could give a homosexual orientation to a childrens book character. I dont know if it was her attempt to bolster acceptance of homosexuality in mainstream culture, but i absolutely believe it has no place in a childrens book. Who would like their seven year old child reading about a homosexual headmaster of a school? I am all for peoples rights, and am generally moderate to liberal in my views.... but i have a hard time agreeing with J.K. Rowling in her idea to say that a childrens book character is homosexual. please reply with thoughts or comments on the recent controversy.

All of his movies are bad yet everyone looks forward to his movies. Why? Why do studios even bother to make his movies anymore? I don't get it.

I have a 6 year old and some of the commercials they show for horror movies are pretty graphic! Don't get me wrong...I am a HUGE Horror movie fan! Can't wait til Saw 4 comes out next week, but these things being previewed during the day can't be good right? I mean that new one with the vampires has really freaked my kid out. Whatcha think?!?
