in movies and shows beofre the movie starts they would usually say no anaimal was hurt in the making of this fillm what i want to know is if the animal wasn't hurt how do they get the dog to yelp or the cat to cry in pain. what do they hurt the dog theb record the yelp

It's usaully added after film is over in post! same with cats, they will do tricks vocalize on command but i don't think they'll yelp or cry out on command?? it's voice overs they add those later...for htey dub for TV release to cut language a bit..some bad words are taken out..

Sometimes, people do the yelps and the sounds of a cat screeching. That way, the claims of no animals being hurt while the movie was being made are true.

its a pre-recorded one that is used in a lot of different movies. just like screams in horror films and little kids laughing. if you pay attention you can tell
