I want to say the Matrix... but I don't see it in the same light since they made those two sequels that totally bombed... that ruined it for me... Also, the lord of the rings were all relatively fun to watch (not to mention epic). I was gonna ask this same question... i need to watch a popular/great movie that I've never seen before...
