Oh, there have been TV movies and miniseries, TV plays, stage plays, stage musicals--Martin even appeared as a character on the TV animation series The Boondocks! And I think Martin sometimes appears briefly as a supporting character in a major feature film. But it's nearly 40 years and Martin hasn't gotten the full big-screen treatment yet as Malcolm X had some 12 years ago. Why not?

Oh, and if they do make a big feature film about King, who should play him, and who should play Coretta?

I've heard that it is Spanish with English subtitles, but is that the same for the American release?

Is it actually an American movie done in Spanish?

Also, does reading the subtitles detract from the movie?
