Why no major motion picture about Martin Luther King, Jr.?

Question

Oh, there have been TV movies and miniseries, TV plays, stage plays, stage musicals--Martin even appeared as a character on the TV animation series The Boondocks! And I think Martin sometimes appears briefly as a supporting character in a major feature film. But it's nearly 40 years and Martin hasn't gotten the full big-screen treatment yet as Malcolm X had some 12 years ago. Why not?

Oh, and if they do make a big feature film about King, who should play him, and who should play Coretta?

the reason in my opinion .is because while both were leader's of the civil right's movement. dr king was considered pro-black while malcom x was considered by many anti-white. so his very hi reach and more assilimation belief's that have made him such a glorified leader. also lacked the over done dramatic conflict that make for good holly wood. just my thought's

I will spread his wish. Treat everyone he was born in this world equal. In Baseball however, I will take the time to honor all the great players whose path was paved by all the players who followed Martin Luther's wishes. (Larry Doby, Jackie Robinson, Don Newcombe, Roy Camponella) I hope everyone can take the time to remember his words and his overall goal. Happy MLK day Martin Luther

Because Martin died in the 60s and we need him for the movies
