i've been disappointed lately, but i love SCARY movies... more "that really could happen" than monster stuff... waited for "the descent"... rather let down... i want some ideas for some movies that will have me getting up and checking the door lock every 20 minutes!!! (yay horror flicks!!)

Years ago there was a movie about a boy who liked this girl, and whenever she would come home her dad would abuse her. Somewhere in the movie, her dad pushes her down the stairs and she breaks her neck. The boy and a friend have this computer they surgically implant into her brain to try and bring her back to life. She moves around in a zombie like state and has 2 or 3 intermittent pulses where her brain reactivates from the computer being implanted into her brain, but only for a second, then she goes back into a zombie like state. Ultimatly a cop shoots her at the end, killing her for good.

This may be an 80's movie, i'm not sure. If anyone knows the name of this please I would be most grateful.

Okay so this is the second time i'm posting the same question. Please who sings the EXACT VERSION of the song 'CHARADE', the version that APPEARS in the film? and they fly around the country pirating local news stations? There's a man pretending to be a woman running for president, a scene where they play 'Go to Hell' behind this news guy, and they convince all of these fighter pilots they are going to be raptured.... I saw it on Bravo in 1990 and haven't been able to figure it out since.

Just awsome I can't say enough good things about it people. What a icon what a thrill of a film a must see for you all. and the crowd my goodness people were shouting whistling screaming you could feel the theatres floor rumble. It was a very good touching and warm film. I saw people of all ages from kids , teenagers and older folks. Its a movie for everyone. Guys who have seen it so far tell me the best parts you liked.

Way to go Sylvester Stallone you deserve it!
