I'm watching it now and I'm thinking that there is some important issues, outside of Christmas, that are poeticaly/metaphorically/dharmacly included in the story.

Examples: The sexy leg trophy that the Dad thinks his wife is jealous of, and the disapointment of the child finding out that the secret message of is Ovaltine club is an advertisment.

I don't remeber the title, but I'm hoping someone knows.

In this movie, Michelle Pfeiffer plays a mother who's in prison for killing a man. Her daughter, Astrid, is sent to various families and is adopted. AS far as I've heard the title is Poisonous Love, but I've looked it up and I didn't find anything, so I'm not sure. I've also searched through Michelle Pfeiffer's filmography.

Does anyone know the title or the name of the actress that played Astrid?
