All I remember is Denzel as a "virtual cop" inside a video game world and Russell Crowe was a suave villain in cyberspace. Cheesy FX and severe overacting, and from two Oscar-winning actors. What was it called and why in the hell was it made?

It's this movie where this guy digs up his great great etc. grandfather to get this crystal skull and finds that he is still alive. Then he discovers that there are all sorts of people after it that come from different time periods. Soon he finds that there is a different world in just about every part of his house. So while he is trying to protect the skull his girlfriend is throwing a party in his new house. Help me out here its driving me nutty. I know it ends with the guy and his friend staying in one of the other worlds and riding off together but that's about it.

Some of my favorite movies growing up were the National Lampoons movies. I dont meant the newer ones either.. they mostly suck.
I mean the Vacations. To this day no one has done a better comedy then Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) in the way he did it.

I dont think they'd pull the group together to do another vacation all though id go see it the day it comes out, but you know what i'd love to see before most of them get too old to care?

and a couple of other people (cant remember their names right off) started National Lampoons Talk Radio which one day brought National Lampoons Magazine.. and soon "Saturday Night Live"

Bring the original people who created it all into a comedy of some sorts.

This movie had a bucnh of people that had gone to a house and they kept hearing what they called "A Clown Laughing" But I recall that to me it didn't sound like laughing at all it sound more like rrrfffree ffrrrfffaa just random stuff jumbled together and I also seem to recal something about blades from a fan killing people. Looking for the name of this movie if anyone has any leads or even remembers anythign about htis movie, please let me know.
