Movies - 13 October 2006

I saw this movie last year arround halloween time on Lifetime and it was just on the other day. Its about Twins sisters - one has a daughter one has a son - The son gets killed and try's to become the little girl by Hanting. The mom of the little girl gets pregnants and when the baby is born they believe it will be the dead boy.
The little girl also builds a toy house with her aunt. And towards the end the family moves into a house that looks exactly like the doll house. Oh and Most of the movie the Sisters and the little girl are out at a cabin. I also remember that the little girl is up one night playing the piano and when the mom goes into the room she says "He wont let me stop."

i was recently watching die hard 2 (not the best of the 3) on dvd. in the scene where john mclane is in the aircraft surrounded by baddies and the plane is shot up by them, they throw in some hand grenadesand when he realises this he gets in the pilots seat straps himself in end ejects out of the plane. surely he cann't have enough time from when they throw the first grenade and they explode to eject?????????????

Arnie Grape from What's Eating Gilbert Grape? I'm not a huge Leo fan, but I think the best role an actor can play are those that you couldn't imagine another actor in. Arnie was that character for Leo. He hasn't had another role like that, except maybe his interpretation of Romeo and that's a big maybe. It was a bit rushed to me.

Anyway, I think DiCaprio could learn a lesson from his Gilbert Grape co-star in chosing roles that speak to his passion and leave the cookie cutter parts to the Ken-doll actors. With his role as Arnie, Leo has proven he doesn't need them. Thoughts?

I'd read they started their romance while filming, 'To Have & Have Not' in 1944.
Now, Bogey was 45 at the time, and Lauren Bacall was only 19. That's a 26 year difference.
While I'm sure old Bogey enjoyed the "veal Bacall", as a 42 yr old guy myself, I find it kinda creepy.
I'll look at younger women, but I don't try to chase them. I prefer women my age, whom I have commonality with.
Guys, Gals, your take on this?

I notice there are alot of hidden humour, that the kids don't understand. Also the thing that drives me crazy is my kids are starting to say things I don't like such as "shut up" etc.... They are learning this from Disney movies and shows.
