my mom says that we can't all see the illusionist if it's scary cuz of my little sister (whom i love to death but wish were a few years older) so yeah, is it "scary"???

I did not consider the Illusionist to be scary. But then again I don't scare easily. It is a love story, with a lot of magic thrown in the mix. There are a few tense parts and a lot of suspense, but I think it was a wonderful movie.

If your mom isn't comfortable taking you and your sister to see it in the theaters, than ask her if you can rent it when it comes out and watch it after your sister goes to bed.

Not exactly, but it is not a move for little kids. It contains alot of magic which could possible frighten a child and there is a murder in it. See if you can see it with a friend if you can't go with your sister.

It might be scary for the little kids. There's a brief sex scene, too.

No and it was boring. I walked out in the middle of the movie.
