Arnie Grape from What's Eating Gilbert Grape? I'm not a huge Leo fan, but I think the best role an actor can play are those that you couldn't imagine another actor in. Arnie was that character for Leo. He hasn't had another role like that, except maybe his interpretation of Romeo and that's a big maybe. It was a bit rushed to me.
Anyway, I think DiCaprio could learn a lesson from his Gilbert Grape co-star in chosing roles that speak to his passion and leave the cookie cutter parts to the Ken-doll actors. With his role as Arnie, Leo has proven he doesn't need them. Thoughts?
