Ever since Walt Disney died, Disney is now a corporation focused on the bottom line. Although Walt was said t obe a terror to work for, he maintained high standards for creating children's movies. He is gone and so are those standards. So forget the concept that Disney means kid-friendly pictures. Just won't happen

I'm somewhat in between saying that the Disney movies are now more meant for teens than the younger children. Society today has changed becoming more accepting of things that were considered "bad" or "wrong" when I was a child, and I wasn't born all that long ago.
I remember in my house we were not allowed to say "damn" or tell someone that we "hated" them, or like you said "shut up". Now you listen to the morning radio shows and they're saying words like ***, and I'm not talking about a donkey. Children are growing up at a faster rate than they had before, and unfortunately a potty mouth is usually inevitable.
We could say that the blame lay at the media's feet because it is difficult to watch TV or rent a movie that doesn't have a word in it that we wouldn't want our children repeating. I completely understand your frustration about how Disney, which parents use to be able to rely on to teach their children a moral or two, has become a negative influence on children. Society should be able to better concentrate on returning the "innocent" part back into childhood.

Princess protection software. The Cheetah females. sort habit. i'm uncertain how plenty controversy it might reason, yet probable plenty. i think of they could make a movie some gay teen nonetheless. There are extra of those in the international than there are time-traveling youth, rock celebrity/double-existence youth, and youth who stay in the white domicile. Edit: i found out Tarzan rather did no longer sing that plenty approximately being an animal..and he became made whilst Walt Disney became alive. :P

I think they put little innuendos in there to keep the older crowd interested. And unless you keep your kids locked in a closet away from the world they are going to pick up on things if not in a Disney movie then somewhere else.

well hidden humor has been around for a long while actually. Remember the old bugs bunny cartoons? Alot of stuff was aimed for adults in those, but would usually just zing over the heads of youngsters as they wouldn't understand.

i kinda agree on that one.
but you see, its a product of society's evolution as well.
if you noticed how society has changed, the term "shut up" is more commonly used now. therefore it would be less insulting to expose kids to such words in order to put them in a proper context.
i think you should keep an open mind on this if u can.

Disney has kind of strayed away definetly. they are not as much for little children anymore and there plots seem to be getting worse and worse. This is all with the exception of Pixar. Those are quality film.

They have always geared movies to appeal to all ages & they do,regardless of whether a child picks up on the adult humor intentions, the animation carries over..Kids today are more advanced than ever,& they know whats right or wrong behavior from what they are taught at home from birth on...Its only natural for them to repeat onery behavior from movies but its up to you to control it..

^ Agreed. If you now go back and watch old Disney movies from when you were a child... you'll catch the adult humor. It's always been there. Maybe more profound these days.
