In a few of the old Mystery Science Theater references, they would use the line, "Wait for it..." when there was a suspenseful scene, or something big about to happen.

Where does this "wait for it" reference come from?

For those of us waiting to afford a widescreen television, I find it frustrating that some of the DVDs for sale have very thick letterbox to the point where you can't even see the entire tops of heads or bodies. Someone bought me an oldie "Some Like it Hot," and when I played in on my 27 inch television, it was like a Letterbox nightmare with the actual movie shown minimally vertically and horizontally. I searched Amazon for fullscreen DVDs but there aren't a lot.

Many moons ago in the eighties i saw a film where a man witnessed an explosion in the sky, because of this he had powers almost like superman but everytime he saw the colour red his powers would fade. Does anybody know what this film was called as its been bugging me for ages.
