Movies - 21 July 2006

The characters are superficial and stereotypical, the story seems lacking in some important areas, and most of all, it's just one tiny film in the expansive genre of "beautiful, f*cked-up girl that everyone seems crazy about for no reason whatsoever."

So, why does everyone keep telling me this is such a great film?

Last week even "Discovery Channel" put this very movie in its list of top 100 Hollywood movies. Sadly, inspite of my repeated attempts, I simply failed to get the copy of this masterpiece.

Who and where did this quote come from?

What if I told you insane was working fifty hours a week in some office for fifty years at the end of which they tell you to piss off; ending up in some retirement village hoping to die before suffering the indignity of trying to make it to the toilet on time? Wouldn't you consider that to be insane?

why do you not see what is going on???? my fellow people (the jews) are making you all look like idiots, criminals, petifiles, perverts, drunks, psychos, everyday on every station you watch on telivision, they make fun of you and people see that from the time there born till they grow up and they dont know any better so they believe its true?? why dont you do something about this. it happens on all shows with jewish writers the simpsons, family guy sienfeld, and many more and in all movies too that are written by jews it happens. i am a jew and i am sick of this crap. i know alot of you wont believe me or understand but its the 100% truth.

I read about it and seen it on History Channel. How half the British fleet hunted Germany's Bismarck, the largest battleship ever. A tremendous naval battle in which the Bismarck destroyed two destroyers and crippled others before it was finally overwhelmed by the combined firepower of many ships and sank. Amazing. Surely great material for a movie. Why hasn't one been made? Will there be?

I just saw the movie and I'm a little lost. The guy said over and over "One ring to rule them all"...apparently a reference to Lord of the Rings, but I've never seen the movie Lord of the Rings. What does this mean when he says "One ring to rule them all"?

"Read it and Weep" is an original Disney movie. The song that I am asking about was sung by Jaime's brother near the end of the movie, during their school dance. Jamie is played by Kay Panabaker, and the brothers name is Lenny whom is played by Nick Whitaker.
