Almost. Don't want to spoil the end for you, but in the end Narnia comes to a close, and is part of Heaven, as all worlds are.

This is at the end of the book series, not the movie, which only covers one book of the seven.

The Chronicles of Narnia books were written with Christian undertones and messages by the author in order to teach children about Christianity. For example, Aslan the lion is supposed to be God/ and or Jesus and Narnia is his kingdom. The children are the sons of Adam and Eve (in other words, humanity) and it is up to them to rid the world (or kingdom) of its evil. The white witch represents the devil in his heavenly form: she is white to represent the angel of light that Lucifer once was. If you read the books and THEN watch the movie, these metaphors will be much more obvious... It's still a good series toget into even if you're not the religious type... it full of fantasy and sci-fi, so it can appeal to those tastes if you can manage to ignore the religious references. Enjoy!!!
