it was like a good idea and i loved the first one..but it was lacking and it was sooooo long...and left you hanging i think it wasnt a good ending...what do you think?

I saw a trailer on a movie of which I cannot remember and wanted to see it. I forgot all about it until yesterday and have been racking my brain trying to figure it out. I think the movie may have been produced in 2005 however I'm not sure. I'm not sure if the single mom is irish but I do remember that the movie was in ireland. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.

Who else here thinks that Tom Hanks was a poor choice to represent Langdon in the movie for the DaVinci Code? I also heard that Angels and Demons was in the works, does anyone know if he will be starring in that one as well? Who thinks there is way too much action in THAT book for Tom Hanks to bring it to the screen?

400 years in the future, they have razor grass, dart-shooting pineapples, dimension shifting vests, explosive homing bearings, cauterizing patches, imaging water, feet with opposable thumbs...

And common automatic rifles with common ammo clips holding common bullets.

I just watched pirates of carabean (the new one) and it was SO DAMN long.. I wouldn't have been able to last if it wasn't for Johnny and Orlando ;)

If so, how long and do you like your job? I've worked at one for 10 years as a projectionist. For the most part I love it. Have seen 100's and 100's of movies for free. I worked for a company called GKC, but they got bought out last year by Carmike.

When i was about 6-10 years old I loved shows and movies about space. In fact they inspired me to create a story that has spanned my life since.
It is So long (all in my head) that if i wrote it in one book it would be about 100 miles long in heighth.
My question is: Is it a good idea to write something that parts came out of other things. One of my enemy ships was an exact replica of somethiong off of Star Blazers.

My story line dealt with Earth in trouble with natural resources, were exp-loring the solar system (it would have originaly started about now)
And an alien race appears in huge war ships promising us help. But its all lies and a attempted assasination on their leader throws us into a war we cant win. Soon Humanity is on the run (whats left of it) and deep in space we gain allies and fight back.

For most of the years thats all it was.. constant war between two universes. What i mean, is that the enemy litteraly came from another universe. They ccould open doors
