Don't listen to these folks; Tom Hanks' latest movie (or at least the latest one featuring him in a white suit) is called "Lady Killers." Pretty good movie, by the way!

Someone already said it, but I'll back him up since there seems to be such a lack of agreement here. You are almost certainly thinking of "The Ladykillers," because you said it was his most recent, and I believe it is his most recent one to be released onto DVD, even though he has done Da Vinci Code since then. Ladykillers was a funny movie, and a funny charater for Tom Hanks. But most importantly, yes, he wears a white suit on the cover. He also has facial hair.

It's for sure "Forrest Gump", he's dressed in a white suit, sitting on a bench, and you can see him from behind. He wears white also on the DVD cover of "Ladykillers", but you can see him togheter with other and a woman's white hat covers most of Tom Hanks picture.
And it's not the lattest movie, it's made in 1994, his lattest is "The Davinci Code".

Forest Gump is the movie you might be talking about, however it is fairly old. There is the Termnial, which has him standing on the cover wearing a suit, (black), but it is a fairly new film, but otherwise, I am not sure!
