I'm looking for a software program that I can download that will allow me to produce a comic strip with similar results as the Order of the Stick comic found at
http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0387.html


I plan on making up short comics about my own character, and posting the image up on my Myspace blog, but I need the software to do it.


Paint won't produce results that are consistant, I'm hopeless with Photoshop, and Flash animations go over my head. I want a program that is free to download and easy for a beginner to use.
