I don't recall that specifically. There was a segment in Rocky & Bullwinkle called "Aesop's Fables" where a father (apparently an ancient Greek philosopher) tells tales to his son. I think usually the son got an entirely different lesson from the story than the father intended.

Possilby you're also thinking of Commander McBragg? The old Brittish fellow who told of his improbable adventures around the world. Those were shown on Underdog and, through a convoluted route, are also connected with Jay Ward productions - maker of Rocky & Bullwinkle.
