Girls Aloud have questioned Pete Doherty's qualifications as both a rock star and pin-up.

The all-girl five-piece put the boot into the Babyshambles star in a new interview, as they prepare to release their greatest hits.

Firstly, Nadine Coyle disputed the former Libertine's talents, commenting: "He's supposed to be this musical genius, but has anyone heard his singing?

"I've heard a Babyshambles album and it was like: 'What am I listening to!?' We could make a record that sounded like that, but could he make one that sounded like us?"

Kimberly Walsh, meanwhile, disputed the idea that Doherty is an attractive icon, commenting: "I guess that if you like brown teeth and mouldy fingers, he's your guy."

I was watching TV, and it was one of those embarrassing celebrity moments shows on VH1 or E! And, big surprise, Hugh Grant shows up on the countdown. For those who don't know, Hugh Grant was arrested with a prostitute named Divine Brown years ago. The twist is that Hugh was dating model/actress Elizabeth Hurley at the time. Every time somebody mentions this on TV, they all say the same thing: "Hugh, what were you thinking? You could have had Elizabeth Hurley." But nobody ever points out the real reason Hugh cheated. If you remember the story, Hugh Grant asked the prostitute for a b. j. Now I'm just guessing, but Elizabeth Hurley does not look like someone who just hands out blowjobs. This was just another case of someone who's not getting what they want at home so they look elsewhere to get it. I'm not really justifiying this behavior, but I understand where he's coming from. I can't believe no one else has said this. Anybody else agree with my theory?
