Entertainment & Music - 8 November 2007

Jesus was on top of the Tower of Babel and spotted his apostle, Paul, down below. He yelled out to him "Paul!" Paul looked up and said "Yes my Lord?" Jesus said "Come hither". Paul fought off the Roman soldiers but was thrown from the first landing, which broke both his arms. Jesus again yelled "Paul, come hither!" Paul kicked his way past the soldiers and made it to the second level, from where he was tossed and broke both his legs. Jesus called "Paul, come hither!". Paul spent the next ten hours slithering his way up, head-butting the ankles of the soldiers and arrived at the top, all dirty,scratched, and bleeding very badly. He looked up at Jesus and said "Yes my Lord?" Jesus said "Paul, I can see your house from here...."

On a normal day, you're on your way to the office/school and suddenly..?

a white van stop next to you and a couple of guys grab you and hit your head to make you unconscious. As you regain consciousness, you found out that you are sitting in the middle of the road with a bomb tied all around you and there's only 1 minutes left on the timer. You look around and see a lot of people watching you about 12 feet away. You notice someone is coming near you..the man said." don't worry, i'm a bomb specialist, let me see this bomb"..you feel relieved..but the man suddenly said "uh oh"..

Elvis Costello recently said that people in the UK don't appreciate older musicians - do you agree?

Is he right - is music in the UK only popular if it comes from young people? When was the last time a musician over 50 years old topped the charts?
Also bands like Led Zepplin and the Rolling Stones - if you listen to them a lot then how old were they when you first started to enjoy them and have you got their latest albums or just the ones they made when they were young?
Obviously this question only really applies to pop and rock music, as those are the genres Elvis Costello would have been referring to.
