I'm building one. They're kinda expensive even though you wouldn't think so.

Would I? Not unless I HAD to for one reason or another.
What do I know about them?
Well, I know that a big bad wolf is strong enough to blow a straw house down.
And I think I know that a straw house would make good tinder for the fireplace.
Now, then, if you're talking PLASTIC straws... well, I'd have to think about that a little more... and I'm fresh out of brain cells, now. :-)

No, since the hay would be all itchy, get into my stuff and probably be filled with insects! Also what would happen of it rained? Or if I was cold and wanted to light a fire? I would be pretty cheap if I wanted to live in a house made of straw!

I have seen some nice straw bale houses, you would never know they were made of straw bales, except that the walls are really thick. In certain climates, they are very good, not so good in others.

I would. Straw makes great insulation.

NO, i wouldn't want to, it would be too itchy...& the hay would get into everything I eat/drink...
