im white and went on a few dates with a black lady and my family acted like it was so bad. what the heck is wrong? it was just a few dates. to get this straight i was in my 30s. single and living alone, i went out with a lady of another race and mentioned it to my sister. she told the whole family and they all acted like they were mad at me. and to be real straight i would have continued to date her but she is married. but i dont get the problem. and also i am very lost on the deal of it being ok for black men being with white women. but she lives in an all black neighborhood and the black men would be rude to me about taking her out. it was just dates. gee i think asian ladies are pretty also. what is up with people getting so angry and rude about it? please be honest about this.

Sometimes life is hard, but I often think that life would be pretty boring if we didn't have hurdles to overcome. When things happen in my life that I may not tottally understand, after I overcome it I realise that the hurdle, I overcame tought me something about life and made me a stronger person.

Do you ever feel this way?
