I think it would be a great idea. Its nice that we have the modern invention of the printing press that makes Bible's available to many and a higher literacy rate now than ever before. I think it is a man's responsibility to atleast teach his family all of the 613 commandments in the Bible and the history of the ancients so they can learn how to be good women.
