When I was a kid, I encountered a really hateful clerk at a store who cut me down for being Hispanic. He came up and said he was sick of my kind rummaging through the racks and touching the clothes and ruining them for everyone else. He also asked me why I didn't go back to Mexico. I guess he figured he could talk to me like that, since I was just a kid.
Funny thing is, I'm not Hispanic. I'm full-blooded Italian. And an American citizen.
The guy got fired.

I get rude sales clerks alot. Especially at Walmart. I like to go to Planet Feedback and leave a complaint. I complained about Petsmart once.They called me within 24 hrs.and gave me a bunch of free stuff.

At the gas station the other day. My 4 year old likes to "pay" for everything now. So I give her the money and she hands it over and gets the change. Usually employee's say thank you to her and are friendly about her "being a big girl". But this guy at the gas station, yikes. I think my daughter was a little afraid. He acted like, sigh...this is ridiculous. It took no longer than if I had done it. As we exited the store I told him that I hope his day get's brighter and that we'd pray for him. He shot me a look that almost hurt.

Yeah this has happened to me. I was at Nordstrom's one day and I stopped at the Lancome counter to stock up on make up and face cream, etc. I was dressed down for shopping and the girl at the counter kept ignoring me.
Some woman came up and two of them fawned all over her because she was all dressed up.
I went over to Estee Lauder, bought over $300.00 worth of stuff,and went back to the Lancome counter. The woman had left because she only wanted to try some cologne.
I placed my bag from Estee Lauder on the counter and told the girl I hoped she worked on commission because she just lost a big sale by ignoring me. Then I left.
I hate condescending people!

Yes to many times. I told her she should not have a job where she deals with the public. She just stared at me and I walked away.

omg!! yes all the time shittty asssss people who can't even smile or speak nice to anyone should be sacked and kicked out the dam store.... deal with it.. i just say sheesh it dosn't hurt to smile a little.
