i understand cable and satellite tv and how they make their money i guess, but how does local and free tv make their money if people dont pay to watch... i understand that ratings produce money or thats what i think, but then in that case where does the money come from? wel anyways how does local and free tv make their money?

greeting you've heard on someone's answering machine/voice mail?

I called someone today, and they sounded so tacky. They spoke in a soft, seductive, voice and slowly said, "Hi there, well you have really bad timing..... no one is here to answer your call........ and you can't page me, because I don't have a beeper anymore......... so............... do whatever you think is the right thing to do......... *beep*.

Couldn't they just have said "Hi, please leave a message."???

mine is:: One day me and my Father were at a pizza place and i was geeting a salad i went to sit down and i was like half sat down and i looked up, i was sitting in a 2 person table WITH A COMPLETE STANGER!!! he was stareing at me like i was a complete RETARD!!!! (well i felt like one too!!!) well i got up and was like "oo sry!! " then i sat AT MY CORRECT TABLE and seen my father LUAGHING HIS HEAD OFF!!! needless to say ... I WAS MORTIFIED!!!

Do you think it's a big deal?

Me and my friends were having fun and goofing off and every question we saw on yahoo ask we replied "shave it". It was studip but we were having fun and sometimes they were really really funny. Then I get a e-mail saying it was a violation to say that with the question " Does molly fish sometimes have early prenancies" and we said shave it and I got in trouble. Do you think it was such a big deal that the person had to report me??????? I mean common....grow up people!
