I really liked the movie... there are, however, some interesting things portrayed in the movie. IE...
(1)The couple's work habits follow gender stereotypes. John hides his gun cache beneath the tool shed; Jane hides hers in the kitchen. John's business front is a salvage yard; Jane's is a Manhattan penthouse...
(2) The irony of Pitt seeing a marriage counselor in the movie that reputedly ended his marriage... was poignant....their marriage was as sterile in real life as their stainless steel decor was in the movie. Lack of communication can be fatal to marriage. well duh...No kidding!
"There's this huge space between us that keeps filling up with all the things we don't say to each other," John tells their marriage counselor. "What's that called?"
"Marriage," the counselor replies.

The movie was awesome- how the couple finally made a real connection... somewhere between redoing the house and him not being able to shoot her.
Regarding the personal/real aspect that happened while the movie was being made- I think that there are times when working with people of the opposite sex is dangerous to a marriage. Unfortunately, Hollywood exists because of these dangerous-to-a-marriage situations.

I think I would have enjoyed it if brad pitt wouldn't have left jennifer aniston for angelina jolie that was so hateful. So my full opinion is it completely sucked.

I refuse to let this movie in my house. I never saw it, and I do not intend to either.
Team Aniston 100%
No matter how many children those two adopt or how many poor communities they visit, their relationship is tainted with lies and soon they'll have to deal with the consequences. Neither one of them has any morals. I feel sorry for the kids.

It was long and drug out story and very implausible and hokey. Was it supposed to be some sort of rip off of Kill Bill?

I saw it for free thanks to a radio station .. and it was worth every penny.
There were some interesting parts, but it was a little better, plot wise, than Leonard Part 6
