ebay...has anyone ever bought anything usefull on ebay, and actually thought they got a bargain?

i know loads of peopl that buy stuff on ebay, but half the time i dont reckon they got a bargain, i reckon they could have got it cheaper else where......
what do you reckon?....do you use it? if so what do you think? if you dont use ebay, why not?....

Does anyone else remember?

I was born in 1975 and when I was a little kid (even up to 1985) we had a stereo console. It looked like a fancy wood box with a lid on it--half of it was an 8-track player and half of it was a record player. I don't rembmer it being new, and I never used the 8-track player, but the record player was all we had until we got a "ghetto blaster" in 1984. So, were we seriously behind the times, or does anyone else my age remember seeing them? Am I making myself look older than I really am when I tell someone about it?

Which episode of Norm MacDonald's "Norm" show did they use the word "blumpkin"?

I read that there was an episode of the show "Norm" (ABC, 1999-2001) starring Norm MacDonald, where the guys were cruising for prostitutes and one of them calls out "how much for a blumpkin?" The network censors did not know it was a crude word (they thought it was a made-up word) so they let it air. I was looking to get a copy of that episode, but I need to know in which episode that scene was. Can anybody help? Thanks!

Note: if anybody is curious what a blumpkin is, search using Yahoo or Google or any other search engine.
