I think both are good but Goodfellas was just really full on gangster. Especially Joe Pesci when he beats up Billy Batts. Godfather was the silent and slow type but gave better meaning.

i liked take that back in the day, but i do think the songs are not very good lyrically, very boring and unmemorable. All sound the same.
People only like them as it reminds them of their youth?
Am I right or wrong?
The best song imho they did was could it be magic, and that was a cover. What do you think?
