There's a song on the Bowling for Soup album (the one with 1985 song) that has an acoustic song. I think its called "these friends of mine".

How about a song from the 1940's? "I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover." Mitch Miller Fast, upbeat, full of life, and something the kids can listen too and sing. Even the clergy would approve.
