My Chemical Romance has been my favorite band for about four years now, and to this day, I don't know more than two or three people who actually LIKE them.

Why is it that it no one gives this band a chance? Everybody judges a band on their singles these days and MCR is no exception! Most people who dislike this band have told me that their music is just "too whiney" or emo for their taste. That's only because they've heard Helena (which I'll agree would sound sort of "whiney" to someone who has never heard it before or does not appreciate the true meaning of the song). It truly infuriates me to hear ignorant kids dissing MCR because they dislike the only song they have ever heard of their's.

This band creates more than beautiful music. They are truly artists who save peoples' lives.

I would like to know your opinion of this band, and please give me your personal thoughts with REAL reasons (ex. don't call them "posers" without some evidence).
