What I mean is, how come we're always bombarded with pictures of celebs like Nicole, Paris, Olsen twins, Britney, Lindsey, Simpsons - walking around outside looking like crap doing ordinary things like grocery shopping or walking their ugly dogs?

I have never seen a picture of Marilyn Manson with torn up sweats, cowboy boots, big sun glasses, baseball cap, pimples everywhere, etc walking his dog in the park with his girlfriend with starbucks cup in hand.

Does he not come out until night time?

Why did people and the media criticize Tyra Banks for gaining weight?

I mean, she still looks good and it's not like many of those people who write the tabloid and magazine articles are in great shape either, so who are they to criticize?

What are the historical facts behind this movie?

Okay, for all of you that have seen the Patriot, starring Mel Gibson, I have a question. Are there any actual historical events that this movie is based on besides the fact that the Revolutionary War did happen? Is Gibson's character based on an actual man (the same about the "bad guy" in the movie as well as the British lord who oversaw operations in that area)? I know that most war movies (Glory, Black Hawk Down, We Were Soldiers for example) are based on actual events, but I've never been sure about the Patriot.
