does anybody know who sings the song with the lyrics i don't give a damn about what those people say.....?

some of the other lyrics include it takes years to find the nerve to be apart from what youare, to find the truth inside yourself and not depend on anyone...this is probably a late 80's song in the punk/new wave music of that time

Where does the phrase 'Follow that car' come from?

My mother and I believe it comes from the movie: 'Shadow of the Thin Man' with William Powell and Myrna Loy. We think the phrase comes from a scene where Myrna runs out of 'Mario's' restraunt and hails a cab, telling him the 'Follow that car', the one her husband is in. The cab then leaves without her.
